Class Notes: October 2007
The class extends its sympathy to the family and friends of Katharine Crowninshield Ferguson who died of cancer in March 2007 at her home in Gulf Stream, FL. She was an ardent and accomplished gardener, had large flower gardens at her home and was a member of several garden clubs including the Garden Club of America of which she was president in 2003 through 2005. She leaves David Ferguson, H '56, her husband of 48 years, her sister, nieces and nephews.
Mary Adebonojo presented an exhibit of fiber art entitled "The fabric of our lives: fiber art by four seacoast area artists" in NH in April 2007. She took up this work seriously after her retirement from active ministry as an Episcopal priest. Judith Moscow Heimann's book entitled The Airmen and the Headhunters was published in November 2007. Book signing events were planned for NYC, Washington and Waltham, MA. The book concerns a true story of WWII airmen shot down over Borneo amid the mountains which were the home of Dyak tribesmen.
